The documentary presents statements by transvestites who work, struggle, and dream and most of all have faith on the same saints to which the pilgrims pay cult.

There are two million fervent Catholics on one side and tens of thousands of homosexuals on the other. In 2004, the IPHAN (National Institute for Historical and Artistic Legacy) cited the Chiquita Party when it underwent the process to earn the Círio the title of immaterial heritage of humanity, giving rise to great controversy: after all, is the Chiquita Party actually part of the Círio?
