Duas preocupações centrais cruzam esta selecção de telediscos. Numa primeira etapa recordam-se primeiras experiências de projecção de iconografia e temáticas queer num veículo de promoção discográfica que, apesar das experiências nos anos 60 e 70, ganha fôlego em inícios de 80 sob o aparecimento da MTV. Partimos depois à descoberta de corpos e das suas expressões de transformação, sublinhando estas a curiosidade de músicos e realizadores pela noção de género.

This selection of music videos responds to two main concerns. A first stage serves to invoke early experiences in the projection of queer iconographies and themes through a means of promotion that, despite the experiments of the 60s and 70s, would only gain prominence in the 80s thanks to MTV. We then embark upon the discovery of bodies and their expression and transformation, all of which emphasize the interest on the part of artists and directors in the notion of gender
