Around 150 people marched in Porto for Trans Visibility, starting at Parque Paulo Vallada, though the streets of the city center, including Campo 24 de Agosto, Rua Fernades Tomás, Bolhão, Rua Sá da Bandeira and ending at Praça D. João I.
The main focus of this march is on the visibility of the identities of people who do not fit into the binary gender boxes, and especially on people who, due to various marginalizations, including racial discrimination, cannot be present at this march.
But the march also took into account the current national political reality, with the "growing threat from far-right movements that jeopardize our rights, our dignity, our lives.", and not forgetting the presidential veto which impeded "the progress and safety of all trans people, including children and young people."
